School of Psychology and Counseling

The School of Psychology and Counseling provides graduate programs for new and experienced practitioners in the field of counseling. The School welcomes adult learners and students who arrive with a wide range of non-traditional experience in counseling and related fields. Welcome to the Graduate School of Psychology and Counseling!

Here are your next steps:


1.     Complete your Financial Aid Application

(Domestic Students Only). To be eligible for federal financial aid, you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and an officially Accepted student. Please complete your FAFSA and submit all required supporting documentation as soon as possible. Learn about financial aid and apply.

2.     Attend an Enrollment Night to register for Fall semester classes

You will meet with the academic advising team for assistance on course registration and review of important next steps for a success term start.  Students should register early to have more course options available to them. 

Enrollment Night sessions will be held on: 

  • Thursday, July 13th at 5:30pm
  • Thursday, July 20th at 5:30pm
  • Thursday, August 3rd at 5:30pm

Please RSVP NOWSpace is limited per enrollment night.  Additional Enrollment Night sessions will be annouced soon.

3.     Obtain your student PIN Number

Your PIN number is needed to access the MYCC Online Portal. Obtain your PIN here.           

4.     Attend Orientation

Orientation is mandatory and will be held on Thursday, September 7th, 5-9pm. For additional information download the Orientation Booklet.

5.     Submit a health insurance waiver, if applicable

This applies to ALL students attending a location in Massachusetts.  Undergraduate students taking 9 or more credits or Graduate students taking 6 or more credits will be assessed the health insurance charge for the on their accounts.  Students who do not require the College's health plan must submit a waiver through Gallagher Koster. 6.     Get assistance with payment plans and student billing, if needed


7.     Contact Disability Services for assistance, if needed


8.     Access the Information Technology Welcome Package

Additional Steps for International Students


1.     Obtain your I-20, if you are an F1 International Student

All international students wishing to obtain, maintain, or regain Active F1 status through matriculation in a Cambridge College program of study must receive a Cambridge College I-20 prior to registering for classes. Upon acceptance, you should receive an email from the International Office detailing your next steps for receiving your I-20. Note: You will not be able to register for classes until your I-20 has been processed.


2.     Complete the Online New International Student Check-In session

At the start of the first term of study, all new F1 international students are required to complete the online New International Student Check-In session, where you will learn all of the rules and regulations surrounding maintaining Active F1 status, and about the culture and expectations of the U.S. classroom.
