100% Licensure Pass Rate for CC's SOE Students
Each year, the Office of Institutional Research & Planning at Cambridge College submits an annual report to the US State Department on the pass rates of all graduates in teacher preparation programs completing state-required certification assessments along with other data. This report is required as a part of the Title II Higher Education Act and includes all Cambridge College graduates in the School of Education who completed teacher education programs for initial licensure in Massachusetts.
For 2015-2016, the pass rate for Cambridge College is 100%. This represents a 2% gain from last year’s (2014-2015) rate of 98%. This means that graduates of MEd Initial Licensure programs offered in the School of Education successfully completed all Massachusetts Tests for Educator License (MTELs). It also means that their performance overall has improved (by 22%) since 2013-2014.
"We are very proud of our students' success for this high achievement," commented Mark Rotondo, VP of Innovation and Strategic Initiatives. "We believe it is a testament to the rigor our programs, the dedication of our faculty to students' success, and the commitment our students have made to attaining their career dreams."
