About Kathrine Corbett

Kathrine Corbett graduated from Northeastern University with a Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She also holds a BA from The University of Wisconsin-Madison in Psychology and Spanish.

Kate has worked at the Old Colony YMCA as a clinician in the Girls Secure Detention Unit and as Clinical Director of the STRIVE program; at a community mental health agency in Lawrence, MA; a group practice in Andover, MA; and in the criminal justice system, completing mental health assessments for court involved youth. Kate opened a private practice in Andover, MA, and took on an additional role at The Institute for Health and Recovery as a collaborator with DCF to help assess individuals and families impacted by substances.

In 2016, Kate joined Cambridge College Lawrence as an instructor for both Field Placement and addictions courses. Two years later, she became Program Coordinator for the Lawrence campus and in June 2021, Kate begins her new role as SOPC Assistant Dean of Academic Advising.
