Cambridge College Joins CHD to Host Ninth Annual "Through Her Eyes" Conference

The Center for Human Development (CHD) recently hosted their ninth annual “Through Her Eyes” Conference. As a sponsor for this year’s event, a record number of 350 attendees were greeted  by Cambridge College representatives to discuss the Undergraduate Program of Human Services and Graduate School of Counseling Psychology.

Each year, “Through Her Eyes” addresses the issues facing girls and young women at risk of personal and social dangers in our culture. The conference focuses on the most current methods and practices for working with girls confronting challenges at home, in school, and in society, from stigmas and relationships to aggression and addiction. This year’s keynote address was given by Carissa Phelps, former runaway, author, attorney and advocate.

CHD is a family of more than 70 programs that deliver a wide range of integrated health care and social services in communities throughout Western Massachusetts and Connecticut, all aimed at helping people build strong productive lives.
