About John Alonso

Before joining Cambridge College, John Alonso served as the Director of Admissions for New England College of Business (NECB), which was acquired by Cambridge College in March 2020 and reconstituted as Cambridge College Global (CCG), the college’s online program division. John served as Cambridge College’s Senior Director of Admissions until September 2023, when he was promoted to Vice President of Enrollment, overseeing the Office of Admissions, Corporate Partnership Development, and Field Recruitment. John also serves as a member of CC’s faculty, teaching courses in Organizational Behavior and Operations Management for the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program. 

John brings with him years of higher education and admissions leadership experience. He has earned both merit and service awards for his dedication to serving students as well as his commitment to the teams he leads. 

John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Edward’s University and his Master of Science degree in Higher Education Administration from Bay Path University.
