About Marcella Iacovone

Marcella Lacovone

Marcella is the Intake & Training Coordinator and Master Level Clinician at Embrace Pathways to Wellness. She graduated from UMass Boston in 2016 with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology, and a minor in Psychology. In December 2022, Marcella completed her Masters’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Trauma Studies from Cambridge College. She is currently pursuing her LMHC License.

Marcella has extensive experience working in the Mental Health Field including Early Intervention, Family and Probate Court, Juvenile Court, Residential settings, including latency and adolescent group homes, Independent Living Programs, and Teen Living Programs for teen parents. Marcella also has several years of experience working with and for multiple state agencies including DCF, DMH, and DTA.

Marcella has always been deeply committed to working with teens and Young adults. She is passionate about mentoring young females; she believes in the importance of teaching life skills to the next generation, and through advocating and empowering teens, she can help them learn and develop necessary Independent Living Skills.
